Another emotional night at the Marlborough Board of Selectmen meeting as the supporters of Willie Hodge made the case for approving his Title 38 Tax exemption.

Mr Hodge was wounded in Vietnam and recently was certified as 100% disabled by the Federal Government. Part of the benefit of Title 38 is the ability of the Town to exempt Mr Hodge from property taxes.

Speaking in support of Mr Hodge were several veterans and Rep Pamela Sawyer. Rep Sawyer stated that our veterans were not just Marlborough residents but belong to the state. She pledged her support to state reimbursement of loss tax revenues to the towns and cities under Title 38.

As it stands now the Board of Selectmen voted to have the town attorney draft an ordinance for town wide vote.
