Dear Mr. Clarke,
Knowing your interest in health care reform, I wanted to keep you up to date on recent developments and to know that I am listening to your views.
During the months of August and September, I hosted or participated in dozens of health care discussions. Now that a new reform package has been proposed in Congress, I want to make sure that your questions about H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act, are being answered.
While I am in Washington over the next week participating in the debate on reform, I will take time each day to answer the most frequently asked questions and concerns from residents of the Second Congressional District on YouTube.

The Affordable Health Care for America Act is the most comprehensive reform to our health care system since the creation of Medicare and as the debate over health care reform continues, it is important that you have access to clear and accurate information about H.R. 3962. My job as your elected Representative is to provide you with the resources and answers you need to best evaluate and understand this legislation.
In addition to my forthcoming videos and in my continued effort to keep you informed, I have posted H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act, online at http://courtney.house.gov/choice. At this web site, you will find useful links to resources that will help you better understand H.R 3962. Also, I have not only posted the full text of the legislation, but also a more palatable section-by-section summary of the reform proposal.
I am pleased that the principles for which I have advocated have survived this long and arduous process. After reaching out and listening to my constituents, this bill moves us forward toward historic and positive change based on my preliminary review.
