The "chaos" looks choreographed, almost like a dance. It's looks like "chaos" but everything is moving in sync and sequence.

Except that one man who dodges that motor car. He had to make a decision, trolley car or motor car. Doesn't look like the car drivers are all that worried about the pedestrians.

I'll see what else I can dig up. hmmm

Any one have any old movies of Marlborough? Pre 1940???

What fascinated me most was what in today’s world would be labeled as “chaos”. The cars and horse drawn buggies crossing in front of the trolley, people walking across the tracks and the lack of designated cross walks! In Marlborough we are looking to upgrade the Exit 12 bus stop spending hundreds of thousands of dollars in the process because of concerns about pedestrian safety. But in this movie it shows a time when people took personal responsibility for their well being. Definitely a much simpler and much less regulated time.

I found myself watching it over and over. Wondering about the histories of the people in the movie.
